Proper care is essential in preserving the exposed surfaces and the value of your vessel. Boaters need to know how the sun, salt water, and other elements can take their toll on fiberglass, gel coat, metal and vinyl. Detailing seals and protects your gel coat, extending the life of your vessel. Metal surfaces must be polished, removing corrosion and inhibiting future damage. The esinglass needs regular polishing and sealing to maintain clarity and prevent yellowing and clouding.

Overview:

*How do we determine pricing? For example, if your boat is 25 feet long and requires compound and wax (exterior only), this covers 1 pass of compounding and 1 coat of wax. The price will be $18.00 per foot. But if your boat requires 2 passes of compound, the price goes up. Or if your boat has a tall hull (taller than average), the price goes up. Or if we have to compound 3 times before to remove deep scratches before we wax, the price goes up even more. Our prices listed above are based on average sized boats in good condition.

• For boats 25 feet and longer, call for a quote.
• If your boat is stored at a marina, we reserve the right to add 10% to the price for marina fees.
• A 50% deposit is required on all jobs exceeding $1,000 to assist with labor and material costs.
• *A $50 service fee as added to every mobile detail within 15 miles of our location and is 50 cents per mile over that. 

Prices may vary depending on boat size & cleanliness & upkeep of boat. Discounting may apply if the boat is kept well.

*Note: Boats that have a brilliant finish on the exterior and do not need to be buffed may be slightly lower in price. Boats that are dull and faded and have not been kept as per manufacturer’s recommendations may be slightly higher in price. Heavy algae removal may be slightly higher in price. If boats are heavily faded and no longer have any gel coating left on the finish, our specialists will let you know what process is best for your boat detailing services. Funktion’s specialists will provide you with professional advice and the best options on your boat.  Please note: Detail packages discounts are only available for regular clients that have Funktion detail their boats at least every 4-6 weeks.

These packages are designed to fit our clients’ needs and budget.  However, Funktion offers high-end more in-depth professional detailing services for clients that are looking to have their boats restored to that like new condition.  Funktion will NOT remove any bolted parts or fastened components.  If special requests are made Funktion will charge extra for this services and have you sign the invoice waiver form which Funktion will NOT be responsible if components are damaged in any way.

Funktion does not like to substitute pricing for the quality of work. If you would like a more in-depth package other than listed above, such as full restoration packages,  including up to an 8 step buffing procedure to bring your boat to that like new condition, stainless polished out, tower polished and scrubbed,  engine areas polished & fully detailed, cabinet areas polished other than wiped down in above packages & more.   Please call Funktion for a free in-depth custom-built restoration package.
